What is the Spotlight Series?

The UWL Spotlight Series is an annual collection of public campus events that highlights the university’s excellence and strengthens connections with the surrounding region. Open to all, the series features events selected for their ability to inspire, engage and connect audiences around topics and experiences that matter locally and globally.

The series supports UWL’s 2025–30 Forward Strategic Plan and its Driftless Difference pillar, which aims to deepen the university’s role as a regional partner and cultural hub through meaningful community engagement.

Learn more about the series and how to nominate your event on the Spotlight Series webpage.
