Calling all students, faculty & staff - join us for Eagle Fest 2026!

We are so excited to announce our sixth annual Eagle Fest -  an event full of live music, entertainment, food and fun! Join us on Friday, September 11 from 4-9 p.m. on Badger Street, Student Union Lawn, Eagle Field, and Drake Field.

"Wings of the Year" Design Contest

Each year, Eagle Fest needs Wings!

We host a design contest each year for our Eagle Fest "Wings of the Year." Student designs and artists are encourage to submit when applications open in March each year. Last year's wings are displayed for your reference.

The winning design is placed on event promotional materials, signage, and possibly even merchandise!

Contest start date: Thursday, March 5th
Submissions due: Friday, March 27th

The winner relinquishes ownership of the artwork to UWL and/or UWL has the authority to utilize the image in perpetuity

Guidelines:

  • Have fun and be creative!
  • MUST BE EAGLE WINGS. Use of this template is not required, but can be used as an outline or reference.
  • Indicate what color shirt the design is intended to be printed on. 
  • Use of UWL logos are optional; logos cannot be edited. UWL will not approve the use of its trademarks in conjunction with: 
    • Tobacco and tobacco-related products 
    • Gambling and gambling-related products 
    • Illegal drug products 
    • Alcohol and Alcohol-related products 
    • Inherently dangerous products, including weapons, firearms, explosives, or fuel 
    • Sexually suggestive products 
    • Racist, sexist, hateful, demeaning, or degrading language or sentiments 
    • Profanity 
    • Statements impugning other universities 
    • Products that present an unacceptable risk of liability or are harmful to the mission or integrity of the institution 
    • Another entity’s registered trademark, unless explicit written permission has been granted from that entity 
  • Designs must be original artwork for the front of a t-shirt, suitable for adults and children.  
  • Competition is open to currently enrolled UWL students.
