The Constitution of the United States

Celebrating 60 Years of Public Access to Federal Resources

By Jason Anfinsen

Happy Constitution Day from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse!

Shealyn McMahon, Outreach Library Assistant, and Payton Schueller, Outreach Student Worker, created an engaging and educational two-sided book display to celebrate Constitution Day at Murphy Library.

In addition to having access to the History-themed print books and learning materials from our vast collection on display (including printed pocket copies of the U.S. Constitution), UWL students, faculty, and staff, and patrons from the greater La Crosse community can scan a QR to access the additional Constitution Day resources available online in Murphy Library’s Constitution Day LibGuide.

This year, Murphy Library is proud to celebrate its 60th Anniversary of continued service to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse learning community and general public as a U.S. Federal Depository Library, highlighting six decades of commitment to making Federal Government information available for public access to all.
