Celebrating the work of our faculty and staff
- Published a series of articles about the city's most endangered historic properties in the La Crosse Tribune in May and June 2023.
- Presented "Postmarked for Local History" at the Wisconsin Historical Society Local History and Historic Preservation Conference on Oct. 19, 2023.
- Served as a National History Day regional competition judge on March 28, 2023.
- Served as a La Crosse County Historical Society Discover the Silent City Cemetery tour guide on June 24, 2023.
- Elected vice-chair of the City of La Crosse Heritage Preservation Commission on July 27, 2023.
- Presented "Listening to War: UWL's Wartime Oral Histories" at the La Crosse Public Library's Monday Mornings at Main on Nov. 13, 2023.
- Together with Chelsea Wyman-Green and past Murphy Library employee Marc Manke, she co-authored the article “Fresh out of 1968: Designing an Effective Crowdfunding Campaign for the Academic Library” in Marketing Library Journal.
- Presented “Critical Visual Literacy in Activism - Counterimages: Radically Repurposed Visual Culture in Violet Ray's Advertising the Contradictions" on October 7, 2023 at Ways of Seeing, the 55th Annual Conference of the International Visual Literacy Association (IVLA), hosted by the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
- Graduated with an MS in Library and Information Science on May 6, 2023 from Valdosta State University.
- Transitioned into his new role of Cataloging and Discovery Librarian at Murphy Library.
- Celebrated 5 years at UWL on August, 27, 2023
