Access World News and Black Life in America now available
The University of Wisconsin System has begun a new subscription to Access World News from NewsBank. This database is updated daily with the most recent news from more than 13,000 sources around the globe, from major national and international newspapers to local and regional sources such as La Crosse Tribune and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Content is available in several formats, including full-text articles, web-only content, and PDF-image editions.
As a part of our subscription, we are also receiving complimentary access to series 3 of Black Life in America. Drawn from the extensive contents of Access World News, this database focuses on news coverage of the experience and impact of African Americans from 1976 to the present.
