UW-L Alumna Jan (Peterson) Hincapie, ’82, looks forward to the opportunity to bring together members of the UW-L family to network and reminisce in Chicago at the 2015 Illinois Park and Recreation Association Conference.
UW-L Alumna Jan (Peterson) Hincapie, ’82, says her degree in Parks and Recreation Administration has been the foundation of her nearly 32 year-career working in the field of parks and recreation in both Illinois and Wisconsin.
As chairperson of the Illinois Park and Recreation Association, Hincapie looks forward to the opportunity to bring together members of the UW-L family to network and reminisce in Chicago at the annual conference 2015 Illinois Park and Recreation Association Conference at the Hyatt Regency Chicago in January.
UW-L alumni planning to attend are invited to a special reception from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, in the Illinois Park and Recreation Association Suite. The event is free.
"My years at UW-L meant the world to me and there is a special bond when I meet a UW-L graduate,” says Hancapie.
