Comedian Adam Mamawala will perform at UW-La Crosse as part of the Campus Activity Board’s 1-2-3 Thursdays program. He will take the stage at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, in the Cellar, Cartwright Center. Admission is free.
Mamawala is an award-winning, 25-year-old stand-up comedian from Hoboken, N.J. He was the winner of the 2007 New Jersey Comedy Festival, a competition that finds the funniest college comedian in the state.
Mamawala was recently named one of Funny or Die’s “Top 30 Under 30: Comedians to Watch” and scored the second highest rating among the Campus Activities Magazine’s stand-up comedian list.
He has been described as “funny, personable and quick on his feet” and “an ideal college performer.”
