Extension Biotechnology Policy and Outreach Specialist Tom Zinnen will present "Changing Colors in the Spectrum of Biotechnology & Food" at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, in 151 Cowley Hall. Light refreshments will be available before the free presentation.
The 30-year history of biotechnology and food provides both insights and puzzlements into how people in Wisconsin, the U.S. and around the world use science in making personal choices, in forming public policies, and in making decisions in the face of uncertainty.

The discussion is a presentation in UW-L's Institute of Biomolecular Sciences 2013-14 Seminar Series.
