Citizens State Bank First Friday Lecture Series continues Nov. 2 at UWL

Business leader Mandi Hinrichs will share “Capitalizing Your Opportunities” during The UW-La Crosse College of Business Administration Citizens State Bank First Friday Lecture Series. The free public lecture will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, in the Stzrelczyk Great Hall, Cleary Alumni & Friends Center, 615 East Ave. N., La Crosse. A reception will follow the lecture. The series provides scholarly dialogue about business management and leadership directly from today’s business leaders. As a second generation leader of the family business, Hinrichs is the president of FLASH, a specialized carrier based in Green Lake, Wisconsin. The company has nearly 100 trucks, primarily serving the foundry industry. Beyond trucking, the family owns a transload company, railcar leasing company, frac sand processing mine and a grocery store. Hinrichs is a member of Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association, WMCA’s ELIT (Emerging Leaders in Transportation), and is an executive officer for American Foundry Society – NEW Chapter. She has served on the board for the Wisconsin Family Business Forum, UW-Oshkosh Business Success Center and the UW-Oshkosh Management Advisory Board. She is involved with the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club of the Tri-County Area. Hinrichs resides in Oshkosh with her husband, Noah, and their two children. She received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from UWL in 2003. She sold pharmaceuticals before joining the family business in 2008. She holds an MBA from UW-Oshkosh.
