Chancellor Joe Gow, Professor Bart VanVoorhis and Attorney Nizam Arain to perform at Popcorn Tavern

Chancellor Joe Gow, Psychology Professor Bart VanVoorhis and Attorney Nizam Arain (husband of Mahruq Khan, Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies) started a band, the "Fur Low Riders." Hear Gow on guitar, VanVoorhis on drums and Arain on bass guitar for the band's first public performance at 10:45 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at the Popcorn Tavern, 308 Fourth St. S. The band plays 1960s blues-rock and the 1950s traditional blues that influenced it. The performance is free. Read more about the band at The furlough blues.
