CEPH is the accreditation organization of UW-L's programs. "We have a longstanding belief in the value of accreditation," says Gary Gilmore, UW-L director of Graduate Community Health Programs. "UW-L's MPH program was the first such program in the UW System starting in 1991, with accreditation being offered in 1992," Gilmore explains. "UW-L's BS-CHE program, which is the only undergraduate major in community health education in the UW System, was the first undergraduate community health/public health program in the nation to be accredited by CEPH in 2007."
