Economic breakfast to feature governor

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton will talk about the state of the regional economy and opportunities for collaboration between the states during a breakfast at UW-L. Register by April 14.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker will talk about the state of the regional economy during a breakfast at UW-La Crosse. UW-L Economics Professor TJ Brooks will lead a discussion on the economic health of the 7 Rivers region during the regional breakfast forum, “Economic Indicators: An Update for the 7 Rivers Region.” It runs from 7:15-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, in Valhalla in Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition. The UW-L Small Business Development Center coordinates the forum. Registration is $20. Pre-registration is required; seating is limited. The deadline to register is Monday, April 14. State Bank Financial sponsors this research project in collaboration with the UW-L College of Business Administration and The La Crosse Tribune.
