This year the Alumni Association aims to grow an annual golf outing to include even more local and global golfers! Learn how you can join the fun and support the alumni association.
In 2012, more than $14,000 was raised at the annual UW-L Alumni & Friends Golf Outing to support the Alumni Association’s legacy scholarships, the Lantern magazine, the Etiquette Dinner, Countdown to Commencement, alumni reunions and much more.
This year the Alumni Association aims to grow the event and include even more global golfers! “Golf Goes Global” is the theme again for this year’s event and alumni and friends from around the world are invited to participate, whether at a course in Onalaska, Florida or Japan.
Local outing: In its 24th year, the local outing is a five-person golf scramble at Cedar Creek in Onalaska. Registration is $125 per golfer and includes: lunch, 18 holes of golf with a cart, special edition UW-L polo shirt, team photo, beverages on the course, special hole events, dinner and a raffle with great prizes. Register for the Onalaska outing.
Global outing: The global outing can take place anywhere in the world! Golfers set their own tee times, golf with alumni and friends in their area and receive a special edition UW-L polo shirt and a 2013 alumni bag tag. The fee for the global golf is just $50 per person. Register for the global outing.
