There will be a short presentation at 3 p.m. A retirement reception for Debbie Veglahn, Administration and Finance, is set for 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, in Port O’ Call, Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition. Veglahn is retiring from UW-L after almost 37 years of service.

UW-L Professor Emerita Anne Winter dies
UW-L Professor Emerita Anne Winter, 77, died May 25 in Florida. Winter worked in UW-L's Physical Education Department for almost 35 years, nine years as department chair. Winter served on the UW-L Faculty Senate for 17 years: twice as senate chair, twice as vice-chair, twice as secretary and once as the at-large representative.
