Lama Ole Nydahl to speak at UW-L

He’s credited with establishing hundreds of Buddhist centers worldwide

A man credited with being a major driving force in bringing Buddhism to the West will speak at UW-L. Lama Ole Nydahl, one of the few Westerners who serves as a lama and meditation teacher in the Karma Kagyu Buddhist tradition, speaks at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, in Graff Main Hall Auditorium.nydahl Nydahl has offered Buddhist teaching in countless cities while traveling and lecturing throughout the world since 1982. He has established more than 600 Diamond Way Buddhist centers in 44 countries worldwide. Admission is $4 for UW-L students and $10 for others. His presentation is sponsored by the?Campus Activities Board, along with the Diamond Way Buddhist Club and The Diamond Way Buddhist Center of La Crosse.
