Student interns at Trane share their experience ahead of the annual Career Fair
UWL senior Amanda Hytry has already lined up a career for herself when she graduates in May. She credits her hard work in the classroom, her internship with Trane Company and the connections she made at a career fair in the fall.
“Without Career services, I don’t think I could have done as much as I did,” says the accountancy major.
On Wednesday, Feb. 22, students will have the chance to make career connections like Hytry did at the annual spring career fair. Dozens of organizations looking to hire UWL students for full-time employment and internships will be on campus from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in The Bluffs, 2110 Student Union.
No pre-registration is required for students. Some of the participating organizations will be conducting on-campus interviews the next day.
Career advisors will be on hand to help. Career Services also has advice for students on its website.
