UWL celebrated distinguished alumni Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017.

[caption id="attachment_6858" align="aligncenter" width="575"] Six UWL alumni returned to campus in September to be honored for distinguished service and successful careers during an Alumni Awards Brunch and Ceremony. Gonzales presented his work on addressing the problem of antibiotic resistance.[/caption] [caption id="attachment_49882" align="aligncenter" width="1500"] Alyssa Boardman, assistant professor of Educational Studies, and Lisa Koenecke, ’91, tour Northside Elementary School. Gleason recieved the Burt and Norma Altman Teacher Education Award.[/caption] [caption id="attachment_49904" align="aligncenter" width="1500"] Mary Welch De Vriendt accepted the Burt and Norma Altman Teacher Education Award on behalf of her father, Wayne W. Welch, ’56.
