UW-L Special Collections Historian Laura Godden and Special Collections Librarian Paul Beck have published a book of historic postcards.
UW-L Special Collections Historian Laura Godden and Special Collections Librarian Paul Beck dug through hundreds of historic postcards at Murphy Library to piece together a book showcasing old time La Crosse. They arranged the postcards in a five-chapter book showing the city’s history of work, parks, and daily life.

Godden and Beck have a book signing planned for 3-5 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Bodega Brew Pub, 122 S. 4th St. Books can be purchased for $20 at the event, and also at several local and online retailers.
