UW-L will induct five former student athletes and a former coach in the Wall of Fame. A brunch and induction ceremony is set for Sunday, Sept. 13, in Valhalla, Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition. A reception begins at 10 a.m., brunch follows at 10:30 a.m. and the program starts at 11 a.m. Cost is $20 per person. To attend, RSVP by Friday, Sept. 4, by calling 608.785.8490 or 877.895.2586. The wall was established in 1969 to pay tribute and recognition to former student athletes, coaches and friends of the university. It is intended to enhance school tradition by honoring those who have displayed exceptional ability while attending UW-L.
