La Crosse New Music Festival set Nov. 5-7
New sounds of the latest music can be heard during the 2019 La Crosse New Music Festival.
The festival runs Tuesday-Thursday, Nov. 5-7, in Annett Recital Hall, Center for the Arts, 333 N. 16th St. Concerts are free and begin at 7:30 nightly.
This year the festival highlights performers and ensembles that include: Matthew Coley, Craig Hultgren, La Crosse Chamber Choral, Nicholas Phillips, Under Paris Skys, UWL Concert Choir and a premiere from William Neil with Project Fourth Stream. The festival is sponsored by the UWL Department of Music, with the support of the UWL College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities-School of Visual and Performing Art and the Wisconsin Alliance for Composers.
