Alumni worldwide can participate on their local courses in support of raising funds for scholarships and other important programs that strengthen UW-L.

The UW-La Crosse Alumni Association will hold its annual golf outing Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Cedar Creek Golf Club in Onalaska — or at any course worldwide.
This is the 26th year of the UW-L Alumni & Friends Golf Outing. The five-person golf scramble includes lunch, 18 holes of golf with cart, a special edition UW-L polo shirt, team photo, beverages on the course, special hole events, dinner and raffle. Registration is $125 until July 24 and $150 beginning July 25 until the day of the event.
Those who can’t make it to the Coulee Region can participate too by playing on any other course Wednesday, Aug. 12. Registration is $50 and includes a special edition UW-L polo shirt.
“This is a great opportunity for alumni and friends to reconnect while raising funds for important programs that strengthen UW-La Crosse,” says Janie Morgan, UW-L Alumni Association executive director.
In 2014, more than $15,000 was raised to support scholarships, the association’s alumni publication, networking events, alumni reunions and more.
The UW-L Alumni Association hopes to have regional, national and international participation. Participants are encouraged to post photos of their group on the UW-L Alumni Association Facebook page throughout the day.
