The UW-La Crosse vocal jazz ensembles will perform their second annual "Holiday Harmonies" concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, in Annett Recital Hall, Center for the Arts. Admission is a $2 donation.
The concert will feature all four of UW-L’s vocal jazz ensembles: “Voices on Vine,” directed by student director Tiffany Townsend; “Maroon and Gray,” directed by music faculty member Aliyah Richling; and “La Capella” and “The Collegiates,” directed by Music Professor Gary Walth.
The ensembles will perform a variety of arrangements of favorite holiday songs and carols, both a cappella and accompanied by rhythm section.
The all-female group La Capella will premiere "We See the Babe," Walth's newest composition. Arrive early; seating is limited. Doors open at 7:10 p.m.
