Around 240 UW-L students will fill all of the La Crosse area’s 25 Salvation Army’s bell-ringing sites.
The students representing 21 student organizations and four residence halls will oversee the stations from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Some will even have live entertainment.
The UW-L chapter of Habitat for Humanity has organized the day-long event for students to volunteer.
“It’s a great way for us to give back to the La Crosse community which gives us so much,” says UW-L Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Coordinator Emily Wild. It’s the second year for the group’s city-wide, day-long effort.
