The UW-L Summer Wind Ensemble will hold its second concert of the season performing a program of band music from Broadway to Sousa.
The UW-L Summer Wind Ensemble will hold its second concert of the season at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 19, in Riverside Park.
The ensemble, along with community musicians, will perform a program of band music from Broadway to Sousa. Selections will include: “An American in Paris” by Gershwin, “Irish Tune” by Grainger, “The Official West Point March” by Egner, “Procession of the Nobles” by Rimsky-Korsakov, among other great selections.
The UW-L Summer Wind Ensemble is directed by Assistant Professor of Music Thomas Seddon. Admission is free. The rain site is Annett Recital Hall, Center for the Arts.
