UW-L volunteers helped make Rotary Lights shine

Among the 17 UW-L groups who helped to light the Midwest's largest holiday display are: American Marketing Association Beta Alpha Psi Biology Club Communication Club Delta Kappa Gamma/Alpha Omega Chapter Golden Key Hutchinson Hall Kappa Delta Pi Learning in Retirement-UW-L Continuing Education Nuclear Medicine Technology Club Physical Education Majors Sigma Tau Gamma Student Council for Exceptional Children Student Occupational Therapy Association University Centers Women’s Basketball Wrestling Rotary Lights began in 1995 and has grown tremendously since with enthusiastic support from the greater La Crosse community. Nearly 200,000 visitors per year enjoy the holiday tradition driving or walking through the park. Each year admission is free, but visitors are encouraged to make voluntary contributions of cash and/or food as they exit the park. Eight area food pantries have shared the more than 1.4 million food items donated. More than $350,000 has been distributed to 148 area non-profit agencies supplying "people power" to make Rotary Lights possible. Find out more at Rotary Lights.
