Register by March 30 to attend UW-L's “Economic Indicators: An Update for the 7 Rivers Region” slated for April 1.
The resources available for multiple factors can influence the growth and success of small business in the 7 Rivers Region. UW-La Crosse Economics Associate Professor TJ Brooks will offer insights and perspectives on the local economy during an upcoming breakfast.
“Economic Indicators: An Update for the 7 Rivers Region” is a regional business forum coordinated in part by the UW-L Small Business Development Center and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The event will be held Wednesday, April 1, in Valhalla, Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition. Breakfast will be served at 7. The program will begin at 7:20 and end by 9.
Guest speakers Tim Penny, president and chief operation officer for the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation, and Mark White, president of the National Association of Elementary School Principals and current principal of Hintgen Elementary School, will bring a regional outlook on early childhood education and initiatives, and the potential economic impact for the area.
Registration is $20. Pre-registration is required; seating is limited. The registration deadline is Monday, March 30.
