How the growth and success of small business in the 7 Rivers Region is influenced by available resources for contracting, consulting and capital will be the discussion at an upcoming breakfast.
Economic Indicators: An Update for the 7 Rivers Region will be held Thursday, Sept. 18, in Valhalla, Cartwright Center Gunning Addition. Breakfast will be served at 7 a.m. The program begins at 7:20 a.m. and ends at 9.
Associate Professor TJ Brooks will offer insights and perspectives on the local economy. Marianne Markowitz, the Regional Administrator for the Small Business Association Midwest Region, will provide a regional outlook on SBA capital access programs, along with opportunities for small business in the global, government and corporate markets. She will also discuss how using SBA-supported resources can help entrepreneurs in the 7 Rivers Region be successful.
Economic Indicators: An Update for the 7 Rivers Region is a regional business forum coordinated in part by the Center for Entrepreneurship, Sustainability and International Trade in the UW-L Small Business Development Center.
