Wind Ensemble Director Tom Seddon and students Scott Horton and Tom Jensen traveled to Kansas City, Missouri, to participate in the association’s national conference, March 15-18. Horton and Jensen participated in the National Intercollegiate Band, representing UWL at the prestigious level.
At the conference, Seddon presented a recording of the UWL Wind Ensemble that was selected through a juried process from hundreds of submissions by groups from the U.S. and Canada. Seddon compares the recognition to an athletic team winning a national championship.
