UWL offers Art Adventure Camp June 10–11 for kids entering grades 4–8
UW-La Crosse Continuing Education and Extension is offering a hands-on camp for that budding artist in your life. UWL’s Art Adventure Camp, for kids entering grades 4-8, offers four different half-day sessions — each focusing on a specific medium: clay, drawing, painting and printmaking. Participants are invited to register for two full days or individual sessions — allowing flexibility to choose a schedule. The cost is $30 for each session.
Artists will learn, explore and create in the university's art education studio. They will be exposed to an array of artistic practices and media techniques while developing their studio practices and art authorship. All art materials for the sessions will be provided. Choose from:
- Clay Building Boot Camp
- Drawing Studio
- Perspectives in Painting
- Marvelous Monoprinting
Each session includes instruction, supplies, equipment and studio time.
