Environmental Studies capstone course service learning presentations

Seven students in the Environmental Studies minor program will show what they learned through working with community partners.  These semester-long projects are in collaboration with mentors from a wide variety of organizations: La Crosse City Planning Department, Sustainability Institute, La Crosse County Health Department, La Crosse County Solid Waste Department, and Wiscorps.  The students initiate and complete a work experience that allows them to refine their environmental interests and professionalism.  Students gain networking opportunities while helping to advance local initiatives they care about.
