Amina Gautier, Visiting Artist of Color

Amina Gautier, Ph.D. is the author of three award-winning short story collections. Her most recent book, The Loss of All Lost Things, won the Elixir Press Awad in Fiction and received the Chicago Public Library's 21st Century Award.  She has also won the Prarie Schooner Book Prize, the Flannery' O'Connor Award for Short Fiction, the USA Best Book Award in African American Fiction, the international book Award, and a Silver IPPY Award in Multicultural Fiction. 

Dr. Gautier will conduct a craft talk/discussion from 2:15-3:3:40, followed by a reading of her work, discussion, and book signing, 4-5 p.m.
