Teaching in a Crisis Symposium

Virtual

The 2020 Annual Conference on Teaching and Learning (COTL), typically held in August, is postponed until January or whenever health regulations allow us to gather again. In the meantime, we have an online symposium planned in Canvas for Tuesday, June 30, 2020.

On Tuesday, June 30th from 9am to 4:30pm, CATL will be hosting Teaching in a Crisis Symposium. The event will take place in Canvas and will showcase how over 30 UWL instructors have been adapting to the transition to remote learning. Exhibits will discuss particular teaching strategies, as well as opportunities and challenges with the strategies. Exhibits will be published as examples of emerging best practices. Exhibits can be accessed as early as 2pm on June 29th.

You are encouraged to review the exhibits (in discussions in the Canvas course) and post questions or comments in the corresponding exhibit discussion area in the Canvas course. You are then invited to join the conversations during the live event on June 30th.

The full schedule, presenters, and a link to the Canvas course can be found here:  https://www.uwlax.edu/catl/gallery/symposium/

Enroll in the Symposium Canvas site NOW! The course will activate at 2pm on June 29th.
