Design for Learning: Monitor

Are students paying attention during class? Are they understanding course content and experiences? Such questions foreground the importance of monitoring learning. This session shares insights from the science of learning on attention, cognitive load, metacognition, and self-regulation. We will discuss practical strategies and explore how they may be implemented in our classes.
