The Psychology of Addictive Technology

Despite some optimism in the early summer, we still see some of the Delta dominoes fall as we entered a new phase of the pandemic this semester. Unfortunately, we’re often less likely to prioritize healthy activities and behaviors in times of stress when we are most in need of self-care. In this workshop, you'll learn about the subtle and pervasive effects of chronic stress that may be impacting your thinking, your emotional reactivity, and your behavior. You will learn research-supported strategies for effectively interrupting the chronic stress process and promoting more positive emotions, a greater sense of calm, and a more mindful approach to daily life.
