Gallery Talk with Dr. Barrett Klein

Collaborating Artistically with Animals

Barrett Klein, Professor of Biology, will share his experiences working with insects, especially honey bees, to produce art and discuss examples of his work in the UWL Art Gallery. His work is included in the current exhibition, Close Observation: Art & Science in the Anthropocene.

When Dr. Klein is not studying sleeping honey bees, he curates an insect collection at UWL, creates insect art, and revels in discovering and documenting connections between insects and human culture.
