Dale Wedig discusses his art and process in conjunction with the exhibition Dale Wedig: Copper.

Hear about the exhibition of hammer formed metal objects created from copper sheets and inspired by the inherent possibilities of this unique element and material.

After Wedig's Artist Talk, you are invited to a public reception in the UWL Art Gallery. See Wedig's art where each piece documents the hundreds of thousands of hammer blows he used to impose his will upon an unsuspecting sheet of metal—an art process that requires knowing where to start and when to stop!

Gallery Hours: 1 p.m. - 8 p.m. Monday—Thursday; 1 p.m.—5 p.m. Friday—Sunday
