Dan Florness - CEO Fastenal

Daniel L. Florness - President and CEO -Fastenal Company

Dan Florness was promoted to president and chief executive officer of Fastenal and selected to serve on the company’s board of directors in October 2015.
He plays a central role in setting and executing company strategy, presenting a clear vision for Fastenal’s ongoing evolution as a strategic supplier. Among other initiatives, he has helped lead the development of Fastenal’s onsite service model, which in recent years has emerged as a pivotal growth driver and market differentiator. In 2019, Dan was recognized as one of America’s Most Innovative Leaders by Forbes.

CBA Benson Friday Lecture Series provides scholarly dialogue about business management and leadership directly from today's business leaders. Supports the CBA Mission: Delivering Academic Excellence, Career Success, and Community Engagement through Sharing new Knowledge and Creating Enriching, Interactive Experiences.
