UWL Marsh Clean-Up

Celebrate the Earth by Protecting the La Crosse River Marsh

Join us for the yearly marsh clean run in collaboration between Friends of the La Crosse River Marsh and UWL. For many years students and faculty from the Department of Sustainability and Environmental Studies, and the Department of Geography and Environmental Science led this program. This year we are looking to grow it even more!

The stretch of WI35 (West Ave or Lang Dr) between La Crosse St and Monitor St takes you from one side of the marsh to the other. Unfortunately, due to a variety of reasons that stretch of road accumulates a lot of trash. That trash is at risk of entering the rich marsh ecosystem if it is not picked up.

If you would confirm that you will be attending, tell us here: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=pKB5wsX1bkCaJUhcMDhapkjtw-8WdXRKhAo7d3HotmtUQ0w2NFFKUE9UU01UOVIxVjQ0VVFYQTJGVC4u
