Canvas & Course Design plus CATL Consultations

9:00 - 10:45am = Get acquainted with Canvas!

The first part of this workshop is designed to familiarize instructors with the need-to-know tools and features in Canvas. Learn how to save time and get some quick tips while working on your own course. Open to new and seasoned instructors.  

10:45 – 11:00 = Break  

11:00 – 12:00 = Course Design 101
Presenter: Kristin Koepke, CATL Director
In the second part of this workshop, we will share how those Canvas skills are used to support quality course design practices. We’ll overview design principles to support student learning such as objectives, universal design for learning (UDL), backward design, and transparency in learning and teaching (TILT) framework.
