Artist Talk: Jennifer Williams

Meditations on Trees and Stones

Join Professor Jennifer Williams for a discussion about her exhibition "Meditations on Trees and Stones." Williams will discuss her work and influences, ways in which the natural world can inform painting, and how there can be shifts between representation and abstraction in visual art over a short (or long) period of time. She will also include information about the Between the Bluffs Plein Air Festival that she and her students are participating in and explain the Study Gallery's related exhibition "Enter Here: selected plein air paintings by Jennifer Williams and UWL painting students" a month-long evolving exhibition.
