Daniel Adam Maltz

Fortepiano American Tour

Austrian-based fortepianist and scholar Daniel Adam Maltz visits UWL on his American Tour.

Program:

Sonata in Bb Major, K. 570 .............. Wolfgang Amadé Mozart

Allegro – Adagio – Allegretto

Andante “favori”, WoO 57 .................. Ludwig van Beethoven

Sponsored by the UWL Visiting Scholar & Artist Grant, UWL Music, and the UWL Piano Scholarship Fund

Daniel Adam Maltz is in demand worldwide, performing in 50+ cities per year as a sought-after soloist, director, Lieder accompanist, and clinician.

Daniel specializes in Viennese Classicism — especially the works of Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven — performed on the Viennese fortepianos of their time.

“Considered the foremost performer in the world of the fortepiano” (Aspen Daily News), critics applaud Daniel’s “very sensitive phrasing” and “marvelous dynamic contrasts” (Marblehead Current) featuring “broad warmth” and “lavish but tasteful” playing (Classical Sonoma).
