Connecting through Conversation

A Meet & Greet and Open Conversation on Discourse at UWL

Looking to connect with fellow UWL students and leaders who care about meaningful communication on campus? Come gather around the fireplace to build community, share your voice, and explore how civil discourse can shape a more inclusive and respectful campus culture.

This student-created event is a bonus addition to Free Speech Week and is open to all students— no matter your major, year, or prior experience. Whether you're curious about dialogue, passionate about communication, or just want to meet new people, you're welcome here.

What to expect:

  • Real conversations about our goals for dialogue at UWL
  • A chance to share your experiences and listen to others
  • A welcoming space to learn, grow, and connect

Snacks and open minds included.
