From Sea to Shining Sea-

Katharine Lee Bates and the Story of America The Beautiful

JOHN DE GRAAF is a filmmaker, author, teacher, and activist.  He is the recipient of more than a hundred filmmaking awards.  Twenty of his films have been broadcast nationally on PBS, and his book, AFFLUENZA: THE ALL-CONSUMING EPIDEMIC has sold nearly 200,000 copies in 12 languages. He was honored as a Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Wisconsin, Superior, in 2018, and is a Fellow of the Academy of Leisure Sciences.  He now lives in Seattle.

Following the viewing of the film From Sea to Shining Sea-Katharine Lee Bates and the Story of America The Beautiful, there will be a panel with our distinguished guest, Associate Professor Brian Kumm-Schaley, and Dr. Andrew Ives.
