Small Teaching: Everyday Lessons from the Science of Learning

Book Club

You're invited to join book club exploring Small Teaching: Everyday Lessons from the Science of Learning (2nd Edition) by James M. Lang, a practical guide to making evidence-based, easily implementable changes in your teaching. We’ll meet for three times before the spring semester begins, with the goal of helping you feel inspired and prepared to make small but meaningful tweaks to your spring courses. Whether you're looking to boost student engagement, improve memory retrieval, or build classroom community, this book offers strategies you can apply right away.

The book is available for free in the CATL Little Free Library. Stop by the CATL office suite to grab your copy, while supplies last.

Facilitator: Kristin Koepke, CATL Director
