6 Objects that Changed the World

HIS110 Final Project Exhibit

“6 Objects that Changed the World” is a final project student art exhibit created by the amazing and lovely students in Dr. Ariel Beaujot's HIS 110 classes.

In this class, students learn about the history of McDonald's, Beer, Potatoes, Coffee, Tea, and Sugar, and engage in 'makes' to represent their learning throughout the course in physical formats.

Students created sculptures, zines, graphic stories, visual timelines, mason jar projects, and re-created Happy Meal boxes.

There were six groups in three classes (for 18 exhibits).

Each group engaged with the material in different creative ways.

We encourage you to not only look at the exhibit but also pick up the mason jars, read the zines, and engage with the interactives that students have set up for you.

But be careful, as students worked hard.

It's the “6 Objects that Changed the World” final project student art exhibit at Murphy Library.
