National History Day—La Crosse Regional

The NHD program provides opportunities for middle school and high school youth to explore history from a research perspective. Local, national, and world perspectives are all encouraged. To commemorate students' work, we host a “National History Day” for students to share their work with the community. The program also includes a competition in which students may advance to the state and national levels—often described as a “science fair for history.”
