Student Employee/Supervisor of Year Recognition

Recognizing those nominated and announcing winner of each category

Event is to recognize those nominated for these awards.

UWL Student Employee of the Year (SEOTY)

Since 1991, UWL has participated in recognizing the outstanding contributions and achievements of students who work while attending college.   Eligibility is determined for all student employees who have been employed between June 1 and May 31.  Students are reviewed on their contributions in the category for which they were nominated:  Community Service, Diversity & Inclusion, Leadership, Technology & Innovation or Critical Thinking.

UWL Student Employment Supervisor of the Year (SESOTY)

Since 2016, this award recognizes the outstanding leadership, professionalism and mentoring of our faculty, academic staff, or university staff who are student employment supervisors.  This award was established to recognize the invaluable role our supervisors play in the development of our student employees.  Acting as role models, mentors, coaches, and more – our supervisors provide education outside the classroom.
