Common Hour: High Throughput Computing

How to leverage CHTC for education and research

The Center for High Throughput Computing (CHTC) is a hub of translational computer science at the UW - Madison that develops tools for high throughput computing, deploys services and build user communities. The CHTC offers national scale services like the Open Science Pool (OSPool) and the Open Science Data Federation (OSDF) that bring computing and data capacity to any academic in the US. In this presentation, we will hear from the CHTCH Director, Miron Livny, and Lead Research Computing Facilitator, Christina Koch, and explore ways that UWL faculty and staff can leverage CHTC services and tools in the classroom and in lab spaces. Come share what would accelerate your work and learn more.
