UWL's 27th Annual

The Joys of Teaching and Learning

The Annual UWL Conference on Teaching and Learning highlights teaching and learning projects by UWL instructors and staff, and provides opportunities for instructors to share their work and learn about the work of others. This year our theme is the joys of teaching and learning, to remind us all of the important work that we do and center us on ways to design for joy as we enter into the next academic year. Join us for a great event! 


SCHEDULE

  • 8:45 am-9:00 am - Coffee/tea, light refreshments, and socializing – Bluffs Room
  • 9:00 am-9:10 am – Welcome – Bluffs Room
  • 9:10 am-9:50 am - Plenary: Embrace the Mistake, presented by The CATL Staff – Bluffs Room  
  • 10:00 am-11:00 am -- Workshops - 3rd Floor Union
    • Feedback for Purposeful Learning
    • Engagement for Purposeful Learning
    • Assessment for Purposeful Learning
  • 11:10 am-12:00 pm – Posters and appetizers + dessert – Bluffs Room  
  • 12:00 pm – Conclusion – Bluffs Room
