Stories of Humanity

Holocaust Memory, Digital Storytelling, and Education

Discover how digital storytelling can preserve Holocaust memory and connect local histories to global questions of war, freedom, and human resilience. Dr. Beth Dotan will introduce Nebraska Stories of Humanity, an innovative digital resource featuring personal narratives, historical documents, interactive maps, and educational materials centered on Holocaust survivors who settled in the United States and servicemen who helped liberate Nazi concentration camps. Explore how technology can bring complex histories to life and inspire meaningful inquiry for educators, students, and communities.
